The first recipients of emotional education are the teachers and families. Teachers must become aware that they are in a high-risk profession. They are at risk of anxiety, stress, burnout, conflicts, etc. Simply entering a classroom activates strong emotions. Teachers need emotional competencies for their own emotional stability, to maintain positive relationships with their students, and to play the role of motivators for learning, rather than falling into the temptation to punish and demotivate. These are just a few examples that highlight the importance of emotional competencies among teachers in order to transmit enthusiasm for learning and build personal and social well-being together.
