AI, at its core, lacks subjective experience—it does not feel, it does not yearn, and it does not possess self-awareness. What it does exceptionally well, however, is mimic emotional intelligence by analyzing vast amounts of data and responding in a way that appears emotionally aware. The fundamental question is: If something behaves as if it understands emotions, does it matter whether it truly "feels" them?
